Learning the Scholarship “Language”
Filling out a scholarship application is much akin to going out on a first date — be prepared for all sorts of things to happen and “deal with them…” quickly. There essentially five major areas that you should address if you are serious about obtaining full-funding:
1) Learn the language: Many scholarships will use specific words or phrases within their description and process. You should re-use these same words and/or phrases as you write your essay or short answer to one of their several questions. Using their language — will guarantee that your application is going to be read.
